Dear Psi Chapter Alumnae,
My congratula ons to the Psi House Corpora on on the decision to renovate and add on to your home
at 1105 College Avenue. The University of Oklahoma takes great pride in our fraternity and sorority
community, and we appreciate the leadership Gamma Phi undergraduates have provided OU for over
100 years. The history of Gamma Phi Beta is a rich and treasured one at OU.
This fall, Gamma Phi Beta welcomed 85 new members through the formal recruitment process. I
understand that these large numbers can be challenging to manage in the current housing. Many
fraterni es and sorori es are planning or carrying out renova ons to create more open space for
increased membership and to improve life-safety features, mee ng spaces and study rooms. These
renova ons can only be done as a result of support from alumnae.
We are grateful for the loyalty of OU fraternity and sorority alumni, and especially our Gamma Phi Beta
alumnae. Many of our alumni boards have Gamma Phi alumnae on them, and we are beyond thankful for
their leadership. We value the fraternity and sorority community at OU and we know it will con nue to
foster community and leadership for years to come.
Alumnae engagement is cri cal to the successes of the Psi Chapter. A strong university depends on strong
undergraduates and suppor ve alumnae. Your support of the current housing facility renova on will help
ensure that Gamma Phi Beta con nues to thrive at OU.
