CHI OMEGA 3 Χ Ω NU CHAPTER KEEPS SAME VISION WITH VIRTUAL OPERATIONS Photos Disclaimer: All pictures taken are with members who either live in the house together or in an apartment together. I t goes without saying that it's been an unprecedented time for Nu Chapter, as with the rest of the world. With the transition to online classes and events, our Chapter has been doing our best to keep the sisterhood alive virtually. In March, we began our switch to online Chapter meetings and conducted a successful virtual initiation for spring new members over the summer. We began our virtual work week for recruitment in August. It was also a huge success, as it was filled with themed dress-up days and safe, socially distanced surprises at the house. e fun theme days included Badgers, Twin Day, and Celebrity Day. With the amazing help of our two national consultants, Del and Sydney, as well as our amazing Zoom and computers team, we were so excited to welcome 77 new members following a virtual recruitment. Although campus and the world look different this year, Nu is adapting and thriving. We are planning some amazing virtual sisterhood activities that will focus on philanthropy, health and wellness, and career and personal development. We have also engaged in a social justice workshop and are excited about being involved with more diversity and inclusion programs. Looking forward, we will be slating in our new executive board soon, finding Big/Little pairs for the 2019 and 2020 new member classes, and growing our sisterhood. Despite the craziness of the world right now, Chi Omega remains a source of happiness and comfort for Nu sisters. Navigating the challenges of operating our Chapter virtually has been a difficult learning experience for everyone, but we're getting through it together. Lastly, I would like to thank all of the alumnae for supporting us and helping Nu Chapter succeed. We can't wait until it's safe to hug all of you and celebrate our sisterhood in the Chapter House.
