Frederic DeGrandis '71 retired as president of regional
hospitals for Cleveland Clinic in 2015 and now serves as
director or trustee of several National Healthcare Organizations
and many local healthcare and community service entities.

Ronald Strauss '74 serves on the Wyoming and Grand Rapids
Historical Commissions. He is the president of Beckmaze
Historical Society. Ronald is a historian for the Western
Michigan Sons of the American Revolution. He is a member of
the Grand Valley American Indian Council, the Grand Valley
Kutsche office, and the Interfaith religious community. He lives

Thomas Miller '79 designs parts for hearing aids and
headphones during his day job. He creates music during his
spare time. Thomas recently released his third CD of electronic

Bob Zahm '84 is working his way through the highest
points in the continental U.S. New England is done; next
up is Washington (Mt. Rainier). Two of his kids are still in
