McCredy suffered an ACL injury last season, but was one of the top newcomers as a sophomore. She signed with Union University. … Thurlby averaged 9.8 points and 3.6 rebounds per game last season, and Russ averaged 10.7 points and 3.8 board per game. Both were named to the all-conference team. … Tunnell had to sit out last season after transferring. She has offers from San Jose State, Drury and others. THE SCOOP The Saints had their best season in a while, advancing to the regional tournament last season. … Wisdom, the quarterback on the football team, is the top returning player. Wisdom started every game as a freshman and averaged 11.7 points, 1.5 steals to earn all-confernce honors. … Henley, a linebacker on the football team, is a force inside.
