Although our treasured traditions were postponed, we adapted and made new ones, bringing new members together and working toward our goal of creating Resolute Men. A Strong New Member Class Coming into recruitment, we were all prepared for an atypical process, but we made the most of our opportunities and even exceeded our highest expectations. I love meeting potential new members, taking them through the pledge process, and creating brothers and Resolute Men at the end of the journey; this year was no exception. We are fortunate to have one of the greatest pledge classes this fall, and I am honored to be a part of this experience, especially during this tumultuous time. Academics Our fraternity makes academics a top priority, and with all our newfound spare time, we have been extensively studying and working hard to improve our house GPA. Through our study room and having each other to turn to, we have all we need to handle our coursework and excel in our classes. Welcoming new members on Bid Day. William Krane '22, Alex Klosterman '21, Alex Reznicek '22, Alec Grundman '22, and Evan Delcarman '22 prepare for recruitment. A Historic Pledge Class Welcome to Gamma Tau! Fighting COVID-19 I have never been prouder of the chapter house, my brothers, and to be a member of Theta Chi. We have all taken the utmost precautions to limit the spread of this virus, such as providing ample sanitation devices around the house and keeping common areas clean. Also, we have drastically limited the amount of people welcomed in the house, as we are dedicated to leaving COVID-19 at the front door on 34th Street. With the help and cooperation of members and alumni, I am confident that we can make this a memorable semester in one of the most notable years in history. Love and Respect, Tom Wrigley '21, President thomas.wrigley@drake.edu www.thetachi.org/gamma-tau Theta Chi-Drake University @Theta_Chi_Drake
