These changes are intended to be voted on and formalized at the Annual Alumni Meeting scheduled for October 31. First, Mike Ellis '84 and I are planning a switch at the presidental level. This is something we have discussed for the last few years, and honors the term limits we recently amended into the bylaws. Additionally, the new challenges brought on by COVID-19 along with changes to our National strategy and operations support model impacted our decision. Mike's experience and leadership capabilities fit what the challenges ahead require. My intention is to remain on the AVC board and serve in the role of secretary. I look forward to continued opportunities to help Indiana Alpha in its pursuits toward rebuilding our chapter and chapter house. To that end, Dave Andrews '79 will step down from his board director duties to remain engaged and focused on the remodeling efforts and fostering the partnership with our general contractor, Larson-Danielson Construction. I am both encouraged and impressed by the quality of men currently serving on your AVC board, and it has truly been a rewarding experience to lead them and those who came before them for the last 10-plus years. I know Mike will serve our brotherhood well and I look forward to working with him and the other leaders going forward. Fraternally, Brian Rodell '98 Alumni Volunteer Corporation President (219) 313-3328 avc-president@purdue-sigeps.com
