At the conference they heard the retiring addresses from the 2012-2013 state FFA officers, keynote speakers Jon Petz and Ryan Potter, special Remarks from National FFA President Clay Sapp and National FFA Western Region Vice President Lindsey Anderson, went to Fresno State to take part in leadership workshops put on by other state FFA officers and other college students involved in agriculture, and even got to see Love and Theft Concert with Terra Bella as the Opening Act. After the four great days that consisted of new friendship, dancing, and little sleep everyone was tired but excited to tell of all the fun times they had. Abby Brown, a state conference attendee, said, "It was a great experience and every FFA member should go at least once during high school, and I'm super excited to attend next year." Olivia Zumalt said, "I was able to get so much out of this experience, not only did we learn a lot but we had fun along the way." Nobody can wait until next year; they can't wait to see how the new officer plans next year's conference. Jean Barton can be reached at jbarton2013@gmail.com.
