Graham T. Helmendach '59 entered Chapter
Eternal on May 23. Graham was born in
Jefferson City, Mo., and attended Jefferson
City High School where he met his future wife,
Carol Jane Woodson. They were married for
60 years. In addition to Delta Upsilon, Graham
was a member of the ROTC and University
debate team. After graduation he served in
the US Army as an artillery officer, rising to
the rank of captain. Following his service, he
took his work, family, and civic duties very
seriously. He was a main of faith and served
the local churches he attended using his vast
business background.
John Twitty '75 was chosen as the new
general manager and CEO of the Missouri
Public Utility Alliance. His appointment was
effective on August 1. John was formerly
head of Springfield's City Utilities. Email:

Mike Wilcox '92 was elected as mayor of
Glendale, Mo., in April 2019. He is also the
owner of St. Louis Caster + Equipment, which
distributes material handling equipment. Email:
