The Booster Hoopsters, composed of familiar faces such as Spartans coach Stan Twitchell, business owner Sophia Swarthout and superior court judge Matt McGlynn, participated in the event, where all proceeds benefitted Red Bluff High School athletics. The Red Bluff High Booster Club, which formed four years ago, has been on fundraising roll lately. About $3,000 were raised by the club at the Red Bluff Round-Up, several more thousand dollars came in from the Red Bluff Pro-Am and after four years the club has raised nearly $50,000 for the school, organizer Ken Robison said. "We know need each other," Robison said of the school's relationship with the club. "Because we certainly need them."
