MYSTIC RIVER FALLS AT SILVER DOLLAR CITY With the tallest drop on a water raft ride in the western hemisphere, Mystic River Falls is now open. The water adventure includes winding, roaring rapids set in an authentic Ozarks mountainous river theme, culminating with a waterfall drop that sends riders down more than four stories of splashing, rafting, family fun. A $23-million investment set in an authentic design of river towns of yesteryear, Mystic River Falls is the focus of the all-new area called Rivertown that includes the new expansive Rivertown Smokehouse, with an array of meats smoked on-site, and a new cinnamon bread bakery, featuring bakers in full view to guests as they create legendary specialties. VOTED #1 AERIAL ADVENTURE PARK – AGAIN! Shepherd of the Hills, has been voted USA Today's Best Aerial Adventure Park in the nation for the second year. They won the award through an online poll. Nominations came from a panel of travel industry judges and were then turned over to the general public to vote. After saving the historic site in 2017, the owners have been hard at work. They continue to provide updates and quality entertainment, without sacrificing the park's tradition. Among the new attractions and opportunities are new night Zipline Canopy tours and night rope courses to give visitors fun adventures, even after dark. BRANSONBULLETIN BRANSONBULLETIN GOLF ACCOLADES Four Branson Golf destination courses have earned spots in 'Best Courses You Can Play' Lists – Ozarks National, Buffalo Ridge have garnered Top 100 acclaim, joined by Branson Hills and LedgeStone in Missouri's Top 10. Ozarks National (No. 1), Buffalo Ridge (No. 2), Branson Hills (No. 3), and LedgeStone (No. 7) earned honors in Golfweek's Best, an annual compilation of lists based on evaluations from more than 850 course raters who survey more than 3,600 golf courses annually. Additionally, Ozarks National and Buffalo Ridge, at Big Cedar Lodge, were honored as "Top 100 Courses You Can Play in America," ranking at numbers 64 and 83, respectively (out of roughly 13,500 U.S. playing venues). Buffalo Ridge Springs Golf Course 2020 marks over six decades of summer fun at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri where the 1880s-style theme park celebrates a 60th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee. The centerpiece of the celebration is the all-new Mystic River Falls, a nearly half-mile journey through splashing waves, hairpin turns and even a hidden mine shaft. The culmination of the river ride is its record- breaking drop—a grand finale, 4.5 story drop! The sheer height of the final drop titles Mystic River Falls as the tallest drop on a raft ride in the western hemisphere. This family-friendly trek is nestled in between Ozark- born rockwork and landscape, providing a ride that's as beautiful as it is thrilling. Inspired by the real past and ongoing search for the headwaters of the Mystic River in Silver Dollar City's Marvel Cave, Pearl Brazen, a fearless adventuress, based on the spirit and enthusiasm of many women in the 1880s Ozarks, invites guests to adventure on their very own water adventure in search of the unknown. In her own words, "The Greatest Adventures Lie Ahead!" On the banks of Mystic River Falls, guests are greeted in Rivertown by the warm, smoky smell of barbeque at the new Rivertown Smokehouse. Rivertown Smokehouse smokes brisket, chicken, ribs and sausages for both classic and new menu items, meant to please both barbeque newbies as well as seasoned veterans. Centered just across the Rivertown Smokehouse is Clara Belle's Cinnamon Bread, the all-new location for Silver Dollar City's famous Cinnamon Bread and new specialty coffees.
