CONSTRUCTION IS UNDERWAY
Must Reach Campaign Goal to Complete Project as Envisioned
D
espite the uncertainty of the stock market and COVID-19 reopening
dates in your state, we chose to move forward with demolition and
groundbreaking in May. Brother Joe Millar '68 made arrangements
with a drone videographer to provide video/stills of the demolition, as
well as construction progress. The videos of the demolishing of the Delta
Tau Delta house can be found at www.deltsokstate.com. Please watch for
future videos of the construction process.
As construction begins, it's crucial that we have all hands on
deck to fund the cost of the Shelter and complete the project as
envisioned. We truly appreciate the efforts of the 147 brothers of
Delta Chi Chapter, listed on pages 2-3, who have raised $4,708,490
toward the Pledge Delt Again campaign. To ensure the Delta Chi
experience for those yet to follow us, we are doubling our efforts
to reach our $5.5 million campaign goal.
We want to honor those alumni who commit to our campaign for Delta
Chi Chapter's future. By making a pledge of at least $2,500, you can
secure your spot on the donor plaque that will be prominently displayed
in the new Shelter. There are several ways to contribute to the campaign,
whether it is a one-time gift or multi-year pledge. You can either use
the enclosed pledge form and mail your donation or visit tinyurl.com/
pledgedeltagain and support the campaign online.
For those of you who need to reschedule your payments due to economic
uncertainty, please contact our campaign coordinator, Holly Neth, at
hneth@penningtonco.com or (785) 843-1661 to modify your original
payment dates.
I am confident that even during these unstable times, our Delt
brothers will persevere to fulfill their pledge commitments. Our goal
remains unchanged. We will build a new Shelter at Oklahoma State
University. For those yet to commit, please join your brothers in
creating this historic event for the future of Delta Chi Chapter.
