r e d f c u.o r g | 13 Q: After many years in the call center, did you still have members who call specifically to speak with you? What do you want to say to them about your retirement? A: Yes, I do still get calls from members who specifically ask for me. ere is one couple who lives in Germany and is in their upper nineties. I spoke with them just before retiring and told them it was an honor and privilege to work with them – on both a business and personal level – for so many years. eir trust in me and Redstone speaks volumes. Members like them made me look forward to coming to work each day and made my time there fulfilling. Q: If you could give a piece of advice to yourself at age 20, what would it be? A: Surround yourself with people who bring out the best in you. Take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way. Life is terrifying and stressful, but it is also happy and exciting. Always remember true motivation comes from within you. Figure out what you want in life and go get it! Life's a lot more fun that way. Q: What are you most looking forward to in retirement? A: Spending time with my family and Coco, my little Shih Tzu dog, traveling, and gardening. Just enjoying life! A lot has changed over the nearly 32 years Anita has been with Redstone. "All good things must come to an end,'' she said. "Instead of making this a sad occasion, let's celebrate all the things we've accomplished together!'' M E M B E R S H I P Get another dose of Member's Moment on page 15. Member's Moment : Anita Wade's Ret irement (Continued from page 3) Some people have called this time "e Pause," and it really is a pause in life – an opportunity to slow down and appreciate what's important. I certainly appreciate you, our members, and our employees, who are family. We are here for you. We will continue to navigate these unknown waters together. It takes something bigger than all of us to see that we are indeed "Stronger Together!"
