In these strangest of times, know that Tri Delta is here for you with helpful information and new ways to get and stay connected! Visit tridelta.org and enjoy our newest features: • "3 for You" – timely and relevant content featuring insights, tips, and tricks on the topics you're most interested in from Tri Delta experts. Read (quick web stories), Listen (to a podcast), Watch (a video), or Connect (with your sisters) and discuss! • CONNECTDDD – our members-only networking platform. Join a discussion group, find a mentor, schedule an informational interview, and more! • Walking with Purpose – our way of staying active and connecting with your sisters. Wear your letters or Tri Delta colors, lace up your shoes, and get moving. Then log your miles to join the fun. Our goal is to walk 132,000 miles by Founders Day in honor of Tri Delta's founding 132 years ago. As always, Tri Delta's Foundation stands ready to assist our members in every possible way. In March, we granted more than $20,000 to collegiate sisters in need of emergency aid to travel back to their permanent homes during the COVID-19 outbreak. Since that time, we have seen tremendous need among our sisters. If you know of a sister who needs assistance, please direct her to our Crescent Fund programs. Applications are available on tridelta.org. Of course, donations are always welcome, and can be made directly online. Now, more than ever, Tri Delta is here to support our members as we work to fulfill our Purpose and stay true to our founding as a society that would be kind alike to all. Loyally, Kimberlee Di Fede Sullivan, Pepperdine Fraternity President Taking the Leap with Tri Delta ABBEY BRAUTMAN '14 THANKFUL FOR THE SISTERHOOD A bbey Brautman '14 had high hopes for her sorority experience when she became a Jayhawk. Her older sister had formed meaningful, lifelong friendships in Tri Delta, and Abbey hoped to do the same in whichever group she chose. Luckily, Theta Omega was the first chapter where she felt at home. "I really liked the women I met during recruitment, and I could see myself being friends with them outside of the recruitment process," she recalls. "I truly believe that I developed my self-confidence and leadership ability throughout my time at Tri Delta." Theta Omega Addresses COVID-19 W e hope you and your families are healthy. Recent worldwide events have given way to many cancellations and rethinking our priorities as we are dealing with the spread of the COVID-19. We share your concerns about keeping our families safe and making certain that our family members have good support during this challenging time. As of the printing of this newsletter, Theta Omega has closed the Chapter House and will follow KU guidelines to determine reopening. This decision was not made lightly but was necessary for the protection of our members.
