In 1997, McGinnis took over and made it his own family business, renaming it Richard's Country Meat Market. The shop's homemade recipes use their premium cuts of beef, pork, chicken, lamb, veal, or specialty meats like locally raised buffalo to keep you coming back for more. Their best sellers are their seasoned burgers (including a Bison Burger) made from fresh-ground beef, and the classic bacon-wrapped tenderloin filet. "We're the only place you can get Chairman's Reserve beef in Fayetteville," says McGinnis of his top-choice and prime-rated steaks from Tyson-owned IBP. "It's customer service and quality that separate us from the competition." If you're looking for a fresh catch, you can expect the same trusted quality and variety from Richard's seafood selection. With 8-12 varieties of fresh fish available in a given day; they carry quite a collection, including: Yellowfin Tuna, Red Snapper, Sea Bass, Swordfish, Catfish, Tilapia, Wahoo, seasonal wild Salmon and more.
