Parkway North High School *Legacy ALPHA NU ADDS 22 NEW MEMBERS IN SPRING RECRUITMENT A lpha Nu welcomed 22 new members, including three legacies, to the sisterhood through Continuous Open Bidding in January. Potential new members were invited to two recruitment events, followed by Bid Day on January 23. All freshmen, the new members were initiated after a six-week new member period the morning of February 29. A sleepover at the chapter house preceded initiation and a brunch was held afterward. Alpha Nu's membership currently is 251. Alpha Nu's Spring 2020 Bid Day theme, Cloud 900: Welcome to the Dream House. Spring new members immediately following their initiation ceremony on February 29. Alpha Nu Leads the Way at RAMS for Third Straight Year A lpha Chi placed first out of 15 sororities for the third year in a row in Rockin' Against Multiple Sclerosis. RAMS is a philanthropic organization at the University of Missouri whose purpose is to raise money and provide service for the MS Institute of Mid-Missouri. RAMS was established in 1993 and runs from October to February each year. In 2019, Mizzou raised over $104,000, which was all donated to the Multiple Sclerosis Institute of Mid-Missouri. RAMS is comprised of a steering committee of 40 Mizzou students and two advisors. Alpha Nu wins Rockin' Against Multiple Sclerosis for the third consecutive year. alpha chi omega | page 8
