I am very excited to share all we have accomplished over the past few months. WE'RE INVOLVED Our Alpha Nu sisters are involved in numerous campus organizations, such as Tour Team, Student Ministries, Mizzou Alternative Breaks, Alumni Association Student Board, Omicron Delta Kappa, ROTC, club sports, service and business fraternities. We are excited for Ava Hanlon '16 and Lucy Tuholske '16 as members of the 2020 Greek Week Steering Committee, Victoria Amsler '16 for her role on the 2020 RAMS Steering Committee, Courtney Kutter '17 for recently being selected to the 2020 Homecoming Steering Committee and Grace Miskov '17 named to the 2020 Panhellenic Association Executive Board as VP of programming and outreach. STRIVING FOR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT For the fall 2019 semester, Alpha Nu attained a chapter GPA of 3.425 with an incredible 156 members on the Dean's List and 22 members who achieved a 4.0. We are very proud of our dedication to academic excellence. SERVICE IS A PRIORITY Our members have been busy showing their support for Columbia's domestic violence shelter, True North. Whether it's raising money through our two fall 2019 events, Burgers and Fries with Alpha Chis and Walk a Mile in Their Shoes, or setting out donation boxes and crafting Valentine's Day letters for True North, Alpha Nu members are passionate about promoting domestic violence awareness. In 2019, we raised more than $26,000 through the support of our alumnae and chapter members. We are grateful for the hard work of our philanthropy committee. HOMECOMING 2019 RESULTS AND GREEK WEEK 2020 Celebrating Mizzou's 108th Homecoming with the men of Alpha Gamma Sigma and placing sixth overall was a highlight of our fall semester. We were looking forward to Greek Week 2020 with the men of Delta Sigma Phi and Kappa Sigma. We were busy creatively planning the execution of our theme, H2O: Just Add Water. It was picked from the overall Greek Week theme of Greekelodeon, ACCOLADES POUR IN FOR ALPHA NU UNDERGRADUATES SISTERS SHINE IN ACADEMICS AND PHILANTHROPY Hannah Mowrer '18, Maggie Meyr '19, Kate Michael '19 and Meg Dailing '17 visit National Headquarters. Kate Michael '19, Meg Dailing '17, Maggie Meyr '19 and Hannah Mowrer '18 attend Leadership Academy. 2019 VP Philanthropy Chairwoman Kara Bramer '17 hosts a successful fall philanthropy week.
