Members participated in Healthy Relationships Week which was a success as we raised over $100 from selling donuts on campus and advertising the "love is..." pins. This effort allowed students to consider healthy relationships in their life. For MacDowell Month, Alpha Chi Omega hosted the Purdue Glee Club for an exceptional performance and another local band by Alpha Beta friend, Sam Voegele to help celebrate our devotion to the fine arts. To celebrate Hera Day, we donated highly requested items to the YWCA shelter. To add to all the excitement in our house, Alpha Beta participated in continuous open bidding (COB). We participated in Meet the Greeks and had over 90 girls interested in joining our chapter and welcomed two new members to our chapter in February. Unfortunately, during spring break we learned classes would be virtual due to the pandemic and our chapter facility would be closing for the remainder of the semester. While this is heartbreaking and sad, we are still planning virtual events to stay connected and help our sisters through this difficult time. If you would like to financially support the Alpha Beta Chapter, please contribute in honor of our seniors who are missing their final semester as college students and missing out on lifetime memories. We know each of you has a special place in your heart for your senior year - supporting the chapter in honor of our 2020 seniors will hold a special memory in their hearts. On behalf of the Alpha Beta Chapter, I would like to thank all of the advisors, the House Corporation Board, alumni, parents and faculty that support our chapter in many ways - through the good times and bad. We hope you are able to visit the charter facility this fall. Our goal is to keep our Alumni Facebook page more regularly updated - stay tuned for updates to come. We could not do what we do without the continued support for the members living at 851 David Ross Road. We are so blessed to have Real. Strong. Women. as mentors and inspiration. We are looking forward to strengthening our sisterhood and returning home to Alpha Beta this fall!
