Together Let Us Seek the Heights Alpha Beta Chapter Hosts Strong Philanthropic and Recruitment Events Dear sisters, I am proud to share that the Alpha Beta Chapter had a fantastic fall semester and 2020 started off as a fun and busy year until the unexpected happened. First, I am thrilled to share how successful our members have been and to give you an insight into our chapter. Starting with recruitment, Alpha Beta enthusiastically welcomed 40 new members into our sisterhood. We cannot thank our passionate recruitment team enough for all of the hard work they contributed to our overwhelming success. Additionally, our philanthropy efforts did a great job raising money and awareness for the YWCA and DVA nationally. During our fall semester, we raised around $700 when we hosted our A Chi Yoga event. Our chapter also won third place in the Panhellenic blood drive attendance which was rewarded with $100 for the local YWCA. In December, we welcomed our new executive board composed of 14 officers. Thank you to our 2019 officers for all of your hard work and dedication - the 2020 officers have big shoes to fill! Our two spring 2020 new members. We are so excited to welcome them to the sisterhood! Game days are our favorite! Sisters love sharing in the excitement with one another and showing off our school pride. Boiler Up! The chapter put together a book drive and built a beautiful bookshelf for the children at the YWCA. Our sisters collected so many books, we had no idea what to do with all of them, but due to all the amazing donations and support we were able to fill the shelves at the YWCA with many wonderful reads!
