Elizabeth Ballard Estes '61 retired from
the Ole Miss Golf Club as business manager
after 28 years. The golf club sponsored many
fraternity and sorority golf tournaments,
including for Phi Mu. Beth enjoyed hiring
students to work on the course and in the

Barbara Ellard White '65 enjoys her retirement
by volunteering at her church as an organist
and singing in the choir. She enjoys visits with
her Phi Mu sisters and loves living in Gulf

Sharon Howze Fortner '68 retired to
her hometown of Sledge, Miss., with her
husband, James, where they own a farm. She
loves small-town living and being close to
her two daughters and four grandchildren.

Karen Kaufman Moore '69 lives in
Bradenton, Fla., and works four days a week at
an all-female dentist's office. On the weekends,
she spends time with her husband, Phillip,
at the beach and eating seafood at wonderful

Linsey Stone Pickens '00 is the assistant
principal at Thelma Barker Elementary in
Jackson, Tenn. Her husband, Jody, is the district
attorney of the 26th Judicial District. They have
