lpha Delta Chapter has exciting
news regarding recruitment
changes! The mission is to
eventually host formal recruitment before
school starts in the future, but this year is a
step in the right direction.
Formal recruitment in 2020 will be held
from August 29 to September 6. Round
times have also been altered slightly in
hopes of shortening the days. Therefore,
recruitment week, including Greek Day, will
be split into two days. This will allow more
time for schoolwork throughout the week
and time for the girls to rest and recover
their voices.
Panhellenic has also made some rule
changes this year to allow more contact
with potential new members throughout the
spring semester. Potential new members
will now be allowed to attend philanthropy
events after purchasing their own ticket.
They can also communicate with actives
via text, call, Snapchat, and other forms
of communication. They can even come
stay with actives as long as they abide by
Chapter House rules.
Events geared toward potential new
members will not be allowed. We at Alpha
Delta are extremely excited about the
changes being made at Ole Miss and we
hope that you come visit soon! If you have
any recruitment recommendations, please
send them to me before August 1, 2020.
