Symptoms include fever, cough and short- ness of breath. It's spread person- to-person either from close contact with an infected person or contact with respiratory droplets when an infected person coughs or sneezes. The people most at risk of becom- ing infected with COVID-19 are those with recent travel to an area with ongoing transmission of the disease, and people with close con- tact to someone diagnosed or sus- pected of having the disease. The majority of people who contract the disease have mild symptoms. The elderly and/or those with underly- ing chronic medical conditions have a higher risk. • What is social distancing? Put simply, the idea is to maintain a dis- tance between you and other people — in this case, at least six feet. Self- initiated isolation by people with mild diseases would continue to be the most important community intervention to reduce the burden on health system and reduce virus transmission. • There is no treatment for the Coronavirus at the moment, so if you begin having a fever or experiencing symptoms of a respiratory infection such as cough or trouble breathing and you have been in contact with someone with the Coronavirus or in an area with the Coronavirus, notify your doctor.
