Missouri GaMMa aluMni Corporation of siGMa phi Epsilon p.o. Box 411811 st. louis, Mo 63141-1811 Address service requested BEARTRACKS Attention:This newsletter is intended for alumni and parents. If your son is still attending Missouri University of Science and Technology, he will receive a copy at the Chapter House. If he has graduated, please send his permanent address to Dave Braun '79 at braunie@sbcglobal.net to update our records. Thank you. Have you been thinking of a way to give back to SigEp? Consider getting involved in managing a house system. The concept is to break the task down into pieces based upon systems/service contractors. We believe that improved results can be obtained by the involvement of more alumni with their expertise. And if we are able to spread this task over a number of alumni, the load on any individual will be light. The systems/services are: • Kitchen and food service equipment • Diningware, glassware, silverware, and cooking utensils • HVAC and fire sprinkler systems • Electrical systems • Plumbing systems • Furniture • Interior and exterior finishes Managing a system/service would involve the following: • Identify needed repairs, replacements and/or improvements • Obtain bids for selected summer work or negotiate with past contractor • Coordinate contractors • Handle questions/issues raised by the house manager • Review, approve and forward repair invoices for payment Please join John Welte '72 and Mark Berger '77 in this program. We believe you will find your involvement interesting, rewarding, and fun. Contact Mike Hurst '74 at md_hurst@yahoo.com for more information or to volunteer. BUILDING SYSTEM MANAGERS NEEDED
