W hat an exciting time for Delta Nu! Aer all, restoring our presence at 3000 University Avenue is where we learned the importance of friendship, leadership, character, and service. Construction efforts are progressing at an impressive pace due to those generous alumni who took a chance and contributed prior to the fall groundbreaking. As we work to raise the final $250,000 of our $3.1 million goal, it is important that every brother consider participating. Before the campus snow melts, we have set a goal to add 75 new donors to our list of contributors. When achieved, this would put us at the commendable participation rate of 30%. If you have been holding off on making a gi, we need you to act today. Many of our best college memories and lifelong friendships can be traced back to our time in ATW. Similarly, our personal and professional successes can also be tied to the skills we learned during our fraternity experience. As you consider your decision to contribute, we'd like to remind you of the project's features. We want to ensure your investment is sound and we remain focused on overcoming the various issues which all of us dealt with during our stay in the house: • e house is designed to make a statement and make UND proud. • e house will be constructed debt-free. • On gis of $10,000 or more, there is still some eligibility remaining for tax deductibility. • e operation of the new house will be professionally managed. • A live-in graduate student will supervise day-to-day issues. • An active alumni board will oversee the operation of the chapter. • e house will be alcohol and drug free. • ere will be community-based programs in place of hazing. We have also tried to make it easier for you to contribute to the campaign: • You can spread your contribution over five years. • You can double your gi because of the matching gi challenge until the match money is exhausted. • Your total gi of $2,500 or more will be recognized on a commemorative plaque in a prominent location in the new house. ere are many opportunities to participate in memorial gis, such as honoring Vietnam veterans like Capt. Ernie E. Bartolina Jr. '62 or Donate to Delta Nu Today!
