Marshall had two outstanding misdemeanor charges each of failure to appear and driving on a suspended license. Kylee Grace Talley, 19, and Kevin James Hale, 23, both of Corning were arrested and booked into Tehama County Jail on the charges of forgery and counterfeiting, receiving stolen property and conspiracy to commit a crime. Collision ��� A Vallejo man was taken to St. Elizabeth Community Hospital following a collision between two semis at 2:45 a.m. Wednesday on northbound Interstate 5, south of Jellys Ferry Road. Larry Hale, 50, had minor injuries. Hale was driving north about 35 mph in the slow lane with Enrique Zepeda, 35, of Oakland ahead of him in another semi, driving about 45 mph. Due to construction, the far left lane was closed and traffic in the right lane had slowed. Hale failed to notice that Zepeda slowed for traffic and rearended his vehicle. Both men were wearing seatbelts. All northbound I-5 traffic was diverted off at Jellys Ferry Road, allowing traffic to continue north. Fraud ��� A Corning woman reported Tuesday that an unknown person had used her social security number to obtain cell phone service in Florida. The person has the same name, but a different birthday. Messages ��� Someone reported Tuesday at Red Rock Truck in Corning receiving a vulgar message from a blocked number and disguised voice. Extra patrol at business was requested. ��� Someone at Valley Terrace Apartments in Corning reported Tuesday evening that vulgar messages had been written in chalk on the sidewalk through out the complex and on a door step.
