Kathy Mattea has been Female Vocalist of the Year twice by the Country Music Association and earned two Grammy Awards, but shes a whole lot more than country. Besides her wide ranging musical expression, Mattea is also known for her engaging personality and genuine connection with audiences. The Chicago Tribune says Mattea "has both a great voice and an aura that is likeably magnetic." Her show is sure to leave the audience with warm hearts and smiling faces when she returns to the Cascade Theatre for her second performance in the venue since the theatres restoration.
