She was booked on the charge of battery: spouse, ex spouse or date. Bail was $3,000. ��� John Charles Wilkinson, 47, of Redding was arrested for drugs in the 12000 block of Highway 99E. Deputies were called to the area about 3 p.m. Monday for reports of a man on a bicycle who was acting strange. Wilkinson, who was on probation and Post Release Community Supervision out of Shasta County, was contacted and a search revealed he had 2.5 grams of methamphetamine in his pants pocket. He was booked on the charge of possession of a controlled substance. Bail was $15,000. Burglary Someone on Walnut Street in Red Bluff reported Monday a burglary during which his wife���s wedding ring had been stolen. Fire CalFire responded at 7:18 a.m. Tuesday to reports of a stove fire in the 18500 block of Benson Road in Cottonwood. The fire, caused by a malfunctioning stove, was contained upon arrival of the first unit. on Solano Street in Corning reported Monday that someone had deposited an empty envelope for the amount of $3,000 into ATM and withdrawn $900 sometime around April 1. ��� Someone at Burger King in Red Bluff reported Monday morning receiving a counterfeit $50 bill. Lost A woman reported Monday morning that her son���s brown western style wallet with a silver star was lost in area of Northside Park on Colusa Street on Saturday. Mail man A woman reported Monday at Northstate RV and Car Wash on Sale Lane that she saw a man take mail out of her mailbox. When she asked him what he was doing he put it back in the mailbox and left the area. Foot rub An employee at the Petro Fuel Island on South Avenue reported at 4:55 a.m. Sunday that a man with a long beard and wearing tan pants asked if he could rub the reporting party���s feet. The employ- ee said the man continued to act oddly and she advised him to leave the property. He was last seen heading towards Loves Truck Stop. An area check was made, but the man was not found. Squatters A woman reported Monday that her neighbor told her there were people staying at her vacant property in the 10700 block of Rawson Road. Both mobiles should be empty. While no one was located at the house, there was evidence of persons living there including numerous cared for dogs. Logs show California Highway Patrol was taking a stolen vehicle report at the residence. Patrol A woman requested extra patrol Monday for a vacant rental on El Verano Avenue. The woman said there had been people living at the property who were not on the lease, who had moved a short distance away and she believed they might have returned to residence and made entry into the garage at some point. Scam Someone at Corning Consignment and Resale on Fourth Street in Corning reported Monday being scammed by an eBay buyer who sent back an empty box after requesting to return an item. The total loss was $520. Obscene phone An employee at Love���s Truck Stop on South Avenue in Corning reported Sunday locating a phone in the bathroom with inappropriate material on it. Corning Police logs show an arrest was made. Nothing further was available. Vandalism Red Bluff Police logs show multiple reports of vandalism including a woman reporting on Monday that her vehicle had been vandalized on Monroe Street. At 12:06 a.m. Monday a man reported seeing two Hispanic men about half an hour before tagging the North State RV and Car Wash building on Sale Lane. There was also an officer initiated report at 1:10 a.m. Monday of fresh graffiti in the area of James Avenue.
