So, how are those summer vacation plans coming? If things aren't looking so good for you to get away from home this year, it's probably not because you don't have the time. According to a survey by Harris Interactive Inc., the American worker left an average of 9.2 days of vacation unused in 2012. That's up from 6.2 unused days in 2011. More likely, you keep pushing a vacation to the back burner because you just don't have the money. After all, a vacation can be very expensive. These days, you'll spend a small fortune for a family trip to Disney World -- plus airfare if you don't happen to live in Orlando, Fla. Of course, there are any number of ways to cut the cost of a vacation, but could you get that cost down as low as $150 per adult? You just might be able to pull it off if you change your expectations a bit and adopt a new kind of vacation attitude. Volunteer vacations are not new, but they've received more attention since Americans are no longer flushed with a lot of discretionary income. OsorioCastelo. 26 and Domingo Flores Ruiz, 28, both of Walla Walla, Wash., were arrested Friday on northbound Instate 5 south of Jellys Ferry for felony possession of a controlled substance for sale and transportation of a controlled substance. Bail for each was $150,000. ��� Cody Ben Bowen, 34, Red Bluff was arrested Saturday on Dusty east of Rawson for a felony parole violation. ��� Cynthia Louise Jeffrey, 56, Corning was arrested Friday on Dusty Way west of Rawson for felony possession of a narcotic and misdemeanor possession and driving under the influence. Bail was $23,000. ��� Sean Erin Karjala, 42, Redding was arrested for felony attempt to contact a minor with the intent to perform lewd or lascivious acts and sending harmful material to a minor. Bail was $250,000. ��� James Daniel Martin, aka Padfoot, Superfly, Harry Potter and Blake, 27, Corning was arrested Sunday on South Avenue for felony possession of obscene material featuring a minor performing a sex act. Damage was estimated at $300. There were several other reports of incidents near the same location. ��� Hawes Ranch & Farm Supply reported its perimeter fence had been cut Saturday. ��� Someone in the area of Houghton and Elizabeth avenues reported Saturday morning seeing graffiti on a fence in the area. Crash A Los Molinos man was flown to Enloe Medical Center in Chico following a crash at 1:05 p.m. Friday on Highway 99E, north of Tehama Vina Road. Larry Moldenhauer was driving north on 99E when for unknown reasons he went off the east road edge, hit the rumblestrip, continued off the road, causing the motorcycle to overturn. Moldenhauer was thrown from the 2010 Yamaha, landing on his head and causing moderate injuries. The motorcycle had major damage. Fire A structure fire was reported at 9:58 a.m. Friday in the 300 block of Kimball Road in Red Bluff. The fire was contained at 10:13 a.m. Nothing further was available. Neighborly A man reported Friday evening that while his fence was temporarily down he saw his neighbor exposing himself. The neighbor was contacted and told officers that he was lifting weights and his shorts accidentally fell down.
