I V www.ci.fayetteville.nc.us Calendar of Events JUNE DEVELOPMENT SERVICES UDO Public Meetings Continue The Fayetteville City Planning Commission is holding a series of public meetings during June to inform and seek public comment on the proposed new  regulations, which replace Chapters 25-Subdivisions and 30-Zoning in the City Code, govern the use and development of land in the city of Fayetteville.  City Council and the Planning Commission held  interested parties are encouraged to present their comments, was held June 15. All meetings begin at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chamber at 433 Hay St. June 22 Planning Commission Meeting – recap of hearing, other items of business June 24 Public Hearing No. 2 June 29 Planning Commission Meeting – continuation of hearing if necessary, discussion and recommendations. The June 1 meeting is airing on Time Warner Cable Community Channel 7 June 18 from 10 p.m. to midnight and June 24 from 10 a.m. to noon. Transit Supervisor Ava Luckett and Automotive Supervisor Juan Larregui really turn the bus wash into a fun adventure. FAST tours are designed to increase the awareness of public transportation and ridership. Topics may include  Disabilities Act and how to ride. Every student participant receives a goody bag with a variety of items from the participating departments. In addition to Transit, Environmental Services, Stormwater and Fire Department Station #1 participated with this tour. With the mercury rising, Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks & Recreation staff members are taking steps to stay as cool as possible.
