While attending FSU, she was Miss SNCAE for 1 year and President of SNCAE for 2 years. Ebony is currently working on her Masters in Education at FSU. Ms. Thomas truly has a heart for children. She takes the time to get to know each child, whether she teaches them or not. Ms. Thomas makes sure that every student is shown that they have value in Hope Mills Middle School and in the world. In one situation this school year, Ms. Thomas recognized that a student was not having a good day. She was so concerned about that student that she walked her to the bus and rode the bus with her.
