Known for his intoxicating fusion of world music, Cook's songs transport the listener to Cairo, Brazil, Spain and beyond. DYLAN EARL — Local post-country/West- ern musician Dylan Earl is back in town with a handful of shows before shipping off across the pond for a tour through Northern Europe. Earl will be at George's Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville with Noah Richmond's Little Monster at 7 p.m. Jan. 9. He's also at Black Apple Crossing in Springdale at 8 p.m. Jan. 10 — and both are free shows. At 7 p.m. Jan. 11, Earl performs at a house concert in downtown Bentonville with ppoacher ppoacher. (Photo: Robbie Brindley) THE OUTLIERS — The Outliers are JT Huff, Mike Sumler, and Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet (of Trout Fishing in America). Between the four band members there's almost 200 combined years of song- writing and performing. The music they create is a broad blend of original and cover material spanning blues to jazz to rock stylings. The quartet will bring a rare performance to the Fayetteville Public Library at 2 p.m. Jan. 5 as part of the Mountain Street Stage Music Series. The show will also be available for view- ing and replay via the FPL Livestream at livestream.com/faylib.
