When will the show actually end? — Amy Fine, Columbus, Ohio A : The Winchester broth- ers (played by Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki) still have some adventures left in them, but they'll be tak- ing those to a different night before they bid farewell. The CW plans to move the series to Mondays to finish out its 15-season run starring March 16, with the show's finale scheduled for May 18. We'd be surprised if that last episode isn't accompa- nied by some sort of retro- spective program. Not only has "Supernatural" been a cornerstone of The CW schedule for a very long time, but any show that lasts that long deserves a special send- off. Network chief Mark Pe- dowitz hasn't been shy about saying how important the se- ries has been to his business, so we fully expect such an on-air tribute to happen. Q : I enjoyed Hallmark Channel's recent "Christmas In Evergreen" movie, and someone told me it was part of a series. How many other movies have there been? — Beth McCoy, via e-mail A : Two. The original "Christmas in Evergreen" starred Ashley Williams, and "Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa" featured Jill Wagner. Last month's new "Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy" had Maggie Lawson as the lead, and one of its big attractions was that it offered all the actresses to- gether in a couple of scenes, neatly linking all three of the films in the franchise so far. We say so for because "Christmas in Evergreen" has proven to be a popular brand for Hallmark, so we wouldn't be surprised at all to see a fourth movie ... or more. Q : Why do they have performers on the Thanksgiving Day Parade floats when they are only lip-syncing to the song? — Rod Bell, Clermont, Fla. A : Well, Happy Holidays to you, too! That practice is standard for the parade for a number of reasons, a major one being the sound quality — which would be nowhere as focused and probably not as clear if the music was performed live in the streets of New York. (Plus, as big as the floats might seem, where would you put the orchestras?) Celebrities are basic elements of the parade, and even if they might not be singing live at the given moment, it's still their music being played ... and for many spectators, particularly those watching at home, that's good enough.
