"Nothing will be changing for our customers in the slightest. They will continue to receive the highest quality of food and service they have come to expect from Village Inn served to them by the same smiling faces," said George Babb, president of Hospitality Specialists, the previous owner. George plans to stay on and continue to oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurants. Village Inn opened its doors 25 years ago, and has become a staple in Northwest Arkansas ever since. Both Village Inn restaurants in Northwest Arkansas, along with another Arkansas Village Inn and out-of-state Village Inn, were purchased by Sherwood Hospitality Group, LLC and Sherwood/Walker Properties, LLC. Babb continued by endorsing Sherwood Hospitality and stating that they were a "third-generation, family owned company who believes in the same values that we have built and will continue to serve the residents of NWA as we always have." One of the many things Village Inn will continue to do is serve delectable pies for you and your family to purchase on special occasions or to enjoy on Free Pie Wednesdays. Known for their delicious and impressive variety of pies, Village Inn has a flavor for everyone. There are the classic choices like Country Apple, Lemon Meringue, Peach Lattice, Cherry, Coconut Cream, and Strawberry Rhubarb. For those who prefer more decadent pies there is Caramel Pecan Silk Supreme, French Silk, Caramel Apple a La Mode, and the award-winning Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup. They are currently offering seasonal favorites Candy Cane Pie and Classic Pumpkin, and their current featured pie is the Holiday French Silk. You can't talk about Village Inn without mentioning their spectacular all-day breakfast that is one of the premier features of the restaurant chain, offering you numerous breakfast items to enjoy anytime they are open. You can choose from items like French Toast, Pancakes, Biscuits and Gravy, Omelettes, Ultimate Skillet, Crepes, Smothered Breakfast Burrito, Eggs Benedict, or the inn-credible V.I.B option that allows you to build your own custom breakfast by choosing four different items (up to seven) from a great list of breakfast favorites.
