Volunteers wanted for chamber BEEF & BROCCOLI ON RICE 1 cup low sodium beef broth 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce 1/4 cup coconut sugar, (I use)l honey 1 Tablespoon sesame oil 3 garlic cloves, minced 2 pounds lean round sirloin steak, sliced thin 2 tablespoons cornstarch 4 tablespoons of sauce from slow cooker 1 head fresh broccoli, cut into bite- sized fl orets Directions 1. Inside the crockpot, whisk to- gether beef broth, soy sauce, coco- nut sugar, sesame oil, and garlic. 2. Place slices of beef in the liquid and toss to coat. 3. Cover with lid and cook on low heat for 5 hours. When done, whisk together cornstarch and the sauce from inside slow cooker in small bowl. Pour into crock pot and stir to mix well. Add the broccoli over the beef and sauce. Gently stir to combine. Cover with lid and cook 30 minutes to cook broccoli and thicken sauce. Serve on a bed of steamed rice. The board positions will run through December 31, 2020. If the appointees for these two posi- tions want to stand for reelection at the next regularly scheduled elec- tion, they will have to run as a can- didate and the position will appear on the General Election Ballot in November, 2020. Both Districts are governed by fi ve- person boards. Board members attend one regularly scheduled Board meet- ing per month during the year and other meetings or events, as needed. Applications may be picked up at the following locations: • La Paz County Education Service Agency, Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; • Wenden or Salome Elementary School District Offi ces Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; The application process includes a completed application form and no- tarized affi davit of qualifi cation. Completed applications must be received at the La Paz County Edu- cation Service Agency, 1112 Joshua Ave., Ste. 205, Parker, AZ 85344. Interviews will be scheduled and the positions are open until fi lled. Eligibility requirements to serve on a School District Governing Board: • A citizen of the United States and resident of Arizona. • Be 18 years of age at the time of appointment. • Be a registered voter of the State of Arizona. • Be a resident of the Wenden El- ementary School District or the Salome Consolidated Elementary School district for one year prior to the date of appointment. • Employees of the District and their spouses are not eligible.
