We need donations of canned and boxed gro- ceries. You can help by putting a box in your RV Park, business or organization to collect groceries. If you have groceries to donate please drop off at the food bank Tues and Thurs 8-noon or at the Dollar General, Road Runner Market, Coyote Foods, Horizon Bank, or the VFW. In our community this last week a family was helped from becoming homeless and a homeless woman was moved into housing. That is what community is all about helping others. Our foodbank had help from the 4-H this month to sort cans and bottles to be recycled. We still collect cans and bottles to keep food bank projects going to help others. Fundraisers: Santa's Workshop Art & Craft Festival will be Nov 30 & Dec 1 at Tyson Wells, call 360-635-1367 for vendor info. Soup & Chowder Contest Fundraiser will be Dec 14. Call 603-834-0647 for info to enter a soup into the contest or a dessert. Last year's judges contest winner the Yacht Club, is challenging anyone to beat them this year. Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays are coming up and we will need help with donations to make the Family Holiday Baskets.
