Email: animono1@comporium.net Shelby Jester '62 is a doctor of medicine and specialized in neonatal/premature anesthesiology before retiring from private practice in 2008. She is also an adjunct professor at the KU School of Medicine in Wichita. Since retirement, she has completed seminary studies in theology at the Bishop Kemper School of Ministry. She reports that her pledge class has met frequently at Mizzou's Homecoming weekends over the years. Rebecca Barritt Banks '63 and her husband, John, "are enjoying our rural life in small-town Darby, Mont.," with flower and vegetable gardens, a fruit tree orchard, and horses. She and John travel to Mexico and Panama in the winters and enjoy visiting friends in Arizona. Gos says, "I was very proud to be the first nursing graduate to be a curator for the MU System. A wonderful experience." Email: haggard.ja@sbcglobal.net Barbara Gale Lame '65 retired in 2007 after more than 30 years as an associate circuit judge in Livingston County, Mo. She and her husband, Ronald, live in Chillicothe and have one daughter, Jennifer. They have renovated six houses in three years and enjoy traveling and horse racing. Barbara still line dances and paints. Nancy Coil Lear '66 retired in 2008 as an attorney and is enjoying travel and volunteer work. She and her husband, Gregory, live in Kansas City, Mo., and have two children, Megan and Kerry. Email: nancylear@gmail.com Elizabeth Barnette Bruce '67 retired in late 2016 after 46-plus years as a St. Louis TV news reporter, writer, and anchor. The St. Louis Press Club honored her as a TV Media Person of the Year in February 2018. Betsey and her husband, Bob, live in Clayton, Mo., and have one child, Whitney. They look forward to traveling more in retirement. She took a trip to Alaska for her 70th birthday, traveled to China and Bangkok in November 2018, and celebrated her 44th wedding anniversary in December 2018. She says, "Most of my time is spent with our grandson and four little Theta legacies." She retired in 2005 from Lakewood Golf Club and was married in 2017 to Peter Holmes. "The officiant was Barbara Edwards Perkins '71, my pledge sister and friend for 65-plus years; we met in kindergarten. She was also the maid of honor in my first wedding [to the late Richard Stahlhuth]." Marsha West '79 is the pastor of Joplin First United Methodist Church and previously served for six years at First Washington (Mo.) United Methodist Church. She and her husband, Dean Eichler, live in Webb City, Mo. Austin. Amy also serves on the Kids First Education Foundation board of Wellington-Napoleon and sings with the praise band and choir at her church.
