The eight brothers listed on the right had a combined GPA of 3.66 and were awarded scholarships totaling $11,000 at the spring awards dinner. Congratulations to all the scholarship recipients for their outstanding performance. We are so excited that Chris Diaguila '17 received the ATΩ Thomas Arkle Clarke (TAC) award. His leadership and contributions to the chapter will be felt for years to come. In speaking with Chris, the three Gamma Upsilon scholarships he was awarded while in the house reinforced that school comes first and encouraged him to keep striving for excellence. This is a great example of how your contributions to Gamma Upsilon impact the undergraduate brothers. In recognition of Chris' achievements and TAC award, the Chris Diaguila Strive for Achievement Scholarship was established. This scholarship will reward undergraduate brothers who achieve academic excellence, serve as a chapter officer, and make positive contributions to the chapter and on campus. You can participate in recognizing Chris and future brothers who achieve excellence by donating to the scholarship program. Our goal is to raise $25,000-$50,000 and to provide up to two scholarships each year. Donations for the Chris Diaguila Strive for Achievement Scholarship, general scholarships fund, or house improvements can be made by check, payable to the ATΩ or ISU Foundation. In the check memo line, please indicate which of the three areas listed above you'd like your contribution to be applied. A receipt will be provided. Checks should be mailed to the following address: Alpha Tau Omega at Iowa State University Gamma Upsilon Chapter P O Box 1022, Ames, IA. 50014-1021 Thanks to the brothers who made financial contributions to Gamma Upsilon this year.
