Gamma Phi Beta A s my time in college comes to an end, I am constantly reminded of how special Gamma Phi Beta is in my life. I've been so grateful for the opportunities Gamma Phi has given me and the person I've become because of this organization. Each woman here has taught me something, challenged me, and helped serve as the support system I have needed in college. STELLAR NEW MEMBER CLASS AIMS TO ADD TO PI CHAPTER ACCOMPLISHMENTS After finishing the spring semester with a 3.69 GPA, Pi Chapter has picked right up where it left off to start the 2019-20 school year. Gamma Phi is still the largest Greek life organization on campus, and we have had plenty of success to show for it. In August, we welcomed home 54 amazing new women into the sisterhood. Each new member is so special and unique. I have enjoyed getting to know each one of them for who they are, and we're excited to see their growth in the next four years. Thank you to everyone who helped during recruitment. Whether it was volunteering your time or writing a reference letter, we are so appreciative. HAPPY TIMES AT HOMECOMING So far this fall, we've raised more than $7,000 for Lincoln Lighthouse during our Scoops for Schools philanthropy event with FarmHouse fraternity. We had a great Homecoming Week with the members of Delta Delta Delta, Alpha Tau Omega, Acacia, and Sigma Alpha Mu. Our very own Jayden Garrett '16 and Christina Berger '16 represented Gamma Phi Beta on the Homecoming court. We are so proud of them! MORE FUN TO COME Upcoming events we are looking forward to are Big Little week, initiation, supporting Lincoln Girls on the Run at their annual 5K, and Founder's Day. Fall semester always brings a lot of excitement and we are looking forward to sharing our sisterhood with our newest members. While graduation is fast approaching, I look forward to future opportunities as an alumna in Gamma Phi Beta. I want to thank the alumnae for their continued support of the chapter. Please feel free to stop by the house any time.
