THE DELTA NEWS 7 e 2018 brotherhood retreat. CHAPTER COMMITTED TO AND EXCITED FOR CAMPAIGN O n behalf of the Delta Nu Chapter, I am pleased to express our gratitude toward the generous alumni who have donated more than $2.8 million to build our new chapter house. e undergraduate chapter is committed to what the future holds for Delta Nu and takes great pride in our history and the reputation our alumni have created for us to uphold. Membership in Alpha Tau Omega has been the principal part of all of our college experiences. It has provided us the initial structure we needed to succeed in college and in leadership opportunities and gave us the best friends and times we could hope for. roughout my time in the chapter, I have seen great improvement in many areas. During my freshman year, the chapter had a cumulative GPA of 2.84. In spring 2019, we were able to increase that to a 3.03, nearly tying with the all-fraternity GPA. Outside the classroom, members have gone above and beyond in providing community service. We are involved with both Safe Kids of Grand Forks and the Special Olympics. e new chapter house will allow two major things to transpire. First, it will provide members with a state-of-the-art facility to live in, fostering a better atmosphere for members to thrive. Secondly, the renovation will help the chapter be more competitive with the recruitment of new members. Most other UND fraternity houses have recently been updated and this is our chance to stay competitive. It is our goal to leave this chapter better than when we came. With a renovation, the house will be able to fuel brotherhood for years to come. Delta Nu is entering a very critical and exciting time in our journey, and we realize that your support is invaluable. We want to share our successes with alumni everywhere because they are yours as much as they are ours. Your time, talent, and treasure will be critical as we undergo this transition in hopes of continuing the excellence we have worked so hard to create. I ask that you take the time to reconnect with your brothers in hopes of making this house a home for Alpha Tau Omegas of all generations.
