September 22 "Movie: The First Monday in May" Andrew Rossi directed this 2016 documentary that gives a behind- the-scenes look at the creation of the "China: Through the Looking Glass" exhibition, an exploration of Chinese- inspired Western fashion, at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art. September 27 "Transparent" The dysfunctional Pfefferman clan burst into song as they come to grips with the death of transgender family patriarch Maura in a 100-minute series finale that is reminiscent of classic movie musicals. Judith Light, Jay Duplass, Amy Landecker, Gaby Hoffmann, Alexandra Billings and Shakina Nayfack are among the cast returnees.
