In addition to learning that the Emperor Penguin is the tallest of the penguins, they learned about their body structure, cold home of ice and water, diet and how penguin parents care for their young. The students follow the hypothesis in the myth and then in groups have the opportunity to actually do some of the experiments firsthand to test the theory, find results and either bust the myth or confirm it.
