CHI OMEGA 5 Χ Ω I am so honored to be serving as president of Nu Chapter and excited to share our Chapter news with each of you. ere are so many great things that our Chapter is doing, and we are ecstatic to share them with our amazing alumnae. e spring semester flew by and we accomplished great things. Our Chapter has so much to be proud of ! We earned the highest GPA in Panhellenic Association, executed an ex- tremely successful Cookie Dough with Chi O philanthropy event, where we raised over $1,000 for Make-A-Wish in one night, and held multiple sister- hood events to bring us even closer as a Chapter, such as a yoga class, movie night, and an escape room for our seniors! In addition, our Humorology cast has raised over $40,000 for a local Madison organization that supports children and their families battling cancer. Personnel Chairman Jess Posnock '18 had the opportunity to represent our Chapter at Firesides 2019, the national convention in Memphis, Tenn. is year's topics were hazing prevention, mental health awareness, and by- stander intervention. Hundreds of Chi Omegas across the country gathered to learn essential skills to bring back to their chapters. "Attending Firesides 2019 was an opportunity that I will never forget. I am grateful for every- thing I learned and am able to bring back in order to improve our chapter." We continue to grow as a strong chapter thanks to the great information Jess has shared with us! e Executive Board and Cardinal Cabinet members worked extremely hard to finish the semester on a strong note. We hope this newsletter will make you feel connected to our Chapter and keep you updated on all things Nu!
