To push the Continuing the Tradition: A Campaign for Nu closer to our $1 million goal, alumnae Judy Harrison Bode '72, Judy Stautzenbach Skogen, Pi Alpha, Kathy Suckow Murtfeldt '72, and an anony- mous donor are issuing a Sisterhood Challenge to all alumnae: they will match any new gi or pledge dollar for dollar up to $20,000, until De- cember 31, 2019! We thank our challengers for their commitment to sisterhood and for making this challenge possible. Our challenge will close at year-end, but don't delay! We want to take full advantage of this opportunity and ensure that no money is le on the table. For those who have al- ready contributed, we encourage you to acceler- ate or even double your pledge to help us secure this match. Campaign Surpasses $700,000 is Sisterhood Challenge arrives at a critical time of our project. Last summer we completed the exterior tuckpointing and also came across nearly $40,000 of unexpected costs for flooding repairs and replacing a water heater. Fundraising for our campaign project these next few months will be crucial so we can complete our planned renovations. is summer we finished the reno- vations on the second and third floor bathrooms. e collegians were exited to return to com- pletely new, modern bathrooms. We hope you will come back to take a tour and see these new, beautiful updates. To date, the capital campaign has received $715,343 in pledges from 115 donors. While we appreciate our early donors, it means that more than 1,200 Nu alumnae have not yet contributed to the capital campaign. e average participation among Greek campaigns is 25 percent. While we were active Nus, we did not settle for average, and as alumnae, we know we can surpass standards set by other groups and reach new heights. We need you to say "yes" to Nu today. We ask that you join us in showing our active members that, like in our four years of college, Chi Omega is a priority. Don't forget the top three initiation classes with the highest percent participation will win naming rights in the chapter house. Submit your new gi or additional pledge in- crease before our Sisterhood Challenge dead- line of December 31. If we don't give back to our Chapter now, then when? It is hard to place a value on our Chi Omega experience, but by making a gi today we demonstrate what our experience has meant to us. Let's not wait to recommit to Nu.
