September 12 "The Mind, Explained" Oscar winner Emma Stone ("La La Land") narrates this illuminating documentary series that examines what's really happening inside the brain, endeavoring to explain everything from dreams to anxiety disorders. (ORIGINAL) Series Premiere "Digging for Britain" (Sept. 9, Acorn TV) In this documentary series, Professor Alice Roberts of the University of Birmingham visits archaeological sites over the course of a year, exploring discoveries such as a Roman coin hoard in Somerset, finds excavated at Shakespeare's first theater in London's Shoreditch, and the mystery of 97 babies murdered by the Thames. Page 8 September 9 - 15, 2019 "Halloween Cake-Off" (Food Network — series premiere, Sept. 30) The fall holiday is about to get wickedly delicious. InFocus "Creep Show" (Shudder — series premiere, Sept. 25) From executive producer Greg Nicotero ("The Walking Dead") comes this horror anthology series that consists of two stories in each of its six episodes and has a cast that includes Adrienne Barbeau, Giancarlo Esposito, David Arquette, Tobin Bell, Tricia Helfer, Dana Gould, Jeffrey Combs, Bruce Davison and DJ Qualls, along with Grammy winners Kid Cudi and Big Boi.
