P A G E 3 ALUMNAE NEWS Sarah Snodsmith Weddell '55 is happy for everyone who is living and working with the new remodel and redecorations. "ey look so nice from pictures in the Arrow Update," she shared. "I would love to connect with any sisters who happen to be in the St. Paul-Minneapolis area at any time!" Jill Shiner Tenbroeck '56 and her husband, Craig, moved to a retirement community several years ago. She is singing with the LARKS, a Junior League singing group. Jill's husband has Parkinson's and she is his caregiver. "I will become a great-grandmother in the fall!" Email: craigten@comcast.net Gayle Gowdy Hamer '62 reports that her husband, John, passed away in February 2017, and she moved back to Boulder. "It's been wonderful being back home." Gayle has had some health issues but is doing okay overall. Email: gayle.hamer12@comcast.net Susan Day Ledieu '62, Sherry Minn Alexander '62, Nancy Bywater Dornfeld '62, Susan Tornsirom Leontiades '62, Jan Newcomb '62 and Nancy Zavoluk '62 were graciously hosted by their sister Ginger Larson Sisco '62 for a memorable weekend in Minneapolis. "We are all 70 and still enjoy the bonds of the wine and blue!" Susan shared. "ank you, Colorado Alpha, for bringing us together so long ago. Yes, Pi Phi is a lifelong gift." Email: susanledieu@gmail.com Susan Summers '65 is living on Kauai and sprucing up her home to sell and downsize. She is thinking of moving to the mainland to be closer to her daughter's family. Susan has two grandchildren, Ella (10) and Will (7). Bonnie Geary Grenney '72 says it's great to be a Pi Phi and reconnect with sisters throughout your life. Email: bgrenney@gmail.com Gillian Cooley Morrison '87 lives in Littleton, Colorado, and has been practicing family law for 26 years, primarily focused on child advocacy. She and her husband, Ward, have three sons (21, 19 and 17). One attends the Colorado School of Mines, one is at University of Colorado Boulder and the other is a sophomore at Columbine High School. Gillian is a 10-year survivor of breast cancer. She was happy to pin her niece, Casey, as a Pi Phi at the University of Oklahoma in 2016. Email: gillian@gcmpc.net Gretchen E. Alkema, Ph.D. '89 is working at the SCAN Foundation, a charitable foundation focused on helping older adults with complex care needs live well in the community and stay out of institutions. Colorado Alpha would not be the amazing chapter it is today without the lifelong commitment of our Alumnae Advisory Committee Chairman, Linda Noel Ibsen, Colorado Beta '66. Colorado Alpha is so grateful to have her.
