Page 3 Beta Sigma Psi T he members of Beta Sigma Psi look forward to another successful semester. Thanks to our Hingst Scholars Program, we welcomed three freshman live-ins and experienced an increased interest during fall recruitment. This fall, we will say goodbye to two graduating brothers, Dillion Greiwe '16 and Luke Stevenson '15. Exemplifying Beta Sig Values Our brothers strive to stay active in the Church community. We host a bible study at the Chapter House once a week and our Church attendance is on the rise. Many of our members also hold officer positions within the Church. It is important to our members that we uphold both personal and Beta Sig values by maintain- ing this involvement. We are always striving to foster and improve the relationship between our Chapter and the campus church community. Excelling on Campus We made it to the semifinals in several intramu- ral sports and won the championship in co-ed softball. Almost every member is involved in one or more clubs on campus with some hold- ing leadership positions. It is important to every member that we keep a positive reputation on campus. Our Drive for Academic Excellence In the spring semester, we won the IFC award for Most Improved GPA. This award showcases our focus to support every member's academic success. Beta Chapter ended the semester with a member cumulative GPA of 3.31 and a semester GPA of 3.21. Ten of our members received se- mester honors and six made the Dean's List. We are extremely proud of our brothers' dedication to academics. A Song for a Cause To help raise money for Habitat for Humanity, our brothers organized a new event on campus this year. Brothers scheduled barbershop quartet performances at other Greek chapter houses and had a blast performing for the Greek life community. We are extremely proud of the event and raised more than $350 for Habitat for Humanity! We are excited to maintain the excellence we achieved in the spring semester this year. We hope to see a large turnout of alumni at the Chapter House for Homecoming weekend. We look forward to connecting with alumni and hearing some of your great experiences. Thank you for all the support and prayers. Every alum- nus is a big part of our Chapter's success.
