BETA TIDINGS A PUBLICATION OF BETA SIGMA PSI AT PURDUE UNIVERSITY FALL 2019 InsIde: RACCOON LAKE REUNIONS 2 CHAPTER REPORT 3 FAST FACTS 4 Beta Sigma Psi Brotherhood Transcends Time Join Our Alumni Facebook Group Today B eta Sigma Psi is joining the 21st century! Last spring, we sent our first email to the addresses we have on file. If you did not receive it, or if your email address or other information has changed, please email beta.alumni@betasigmapsi.org. Future emails may contain links to Beta Tidings, alumni event information, and Chapter updates. Update your information so you don't miss out. Brotherhood Between Chapters We may not be at Purdue anymore, but we can still have fellowship. We recently started an Indianapolis Beta Sigs group on Facebook for the purpose of organizing meetups. We have brothers from Alpha, Beta, and Omega chapters. If you're in the Indianapolis area, we'd love to have you join. This is a great opportunity to connect with brothers who we other- wise may have never known. We're also interested to hear the perspective of some older brothers. What activities would interest you, and what's the best way to get in touch? All feedback is encouraged to make sure we maintain a strong brotherhood. Join the Facebook group to let us know or contact a member of the Lafayette Alumni Chapter. Enduring Focus on Recruitment By the time you receive this, recruitment will have ended, and we will have welcomed our newest associate members. However, our jobs as recruiters hasn't ended! If you know of any freshmen attending Purdue or one of our other schools, we can still recruit them in the spring semes- ter. Every brother can be a part of the recruitment process. By staying involved we can maintain the great Beta Sigma Psi legacy! Likewise, if you know of any high school seniors considering Purdue, now is the time to direct them to the Christian Leadership Award. Not only is it a way for us to help young, Christian gentlemen pay for school, but it has also been a great recruitment tool. Please send names and contact information to the recruitment chairmen: • Chandler Parish '19 at parrish1@purdue.edu • Quinn Cook '18 at cookq@purdue.edu Scholarship information can be found at http://www.betasigmapsi.org/scholarships. Fraternally, Adam Rusch '02 Lafayette Alumni Chapter President Beta Sigma Psi Educational Foundation Chairman adam@rusch.me See page 2 for a look into how Beta brothers reunite! Brothers relax on the patio during the 2019 Raccoon Lake group reunion.
