Building Alpha Mu's Future W e urge your thoughtful consideration of this project. You are the only one who can place a value on your Kappa Delta membership—on the lifelong friendships you made, on the development of your values and principles, and on the many ways Alpha Mu enhanced your college years. Now it is our turn to support Alpha Mu and ensure that the same, meaningful experience is available to future sisters. e commitment we make today cannot be underestimated—it will have a far-reaching effect on the lives of our Alpha Mu sisters for years to come. MAXIMIZING YOUR IMPACT Because of the magnitude of our objectives, we are urging all alumnae to consider major gis to the campaign. In order for each alumna to maximize her participation, gis can be structured over a five-year pledge period. Gis in honor or in memory of other Kappa Deltas, as well as family gis, are welcome. DONOR RECOGNITION Each of us, simply by our presence, has contributed to the history of Alpha Mu. How appropriate then that each of our names be entered into its halls. Special naming opportunities will be offered to alumnae considering gis of $25,000 and above. Each donor who contributes $2,500 or more will be recognized on a prominently displayed plaque. All donors contributing $1,000 or more to the campaign will be recognized in campaign publications, unless otherwise requested. TAX-DEDUCTIBLE GIFTS A percentage of gis to the campaign are tax deductible through the Kappa Delta Foundation. e Internal Revenue Service will allow exclusively educational space in the home to be funded with tax- deductible dollars that are gied to the Kappa Delta Foundation and designated for the Alpha Mu Chapter. We encourage all alumnae to consider making a five-year commitment. Although all gis are appreciated, we will not reach our goal with one- time gis. We understand that everyone has a budget to consider. e chart below demonstrates the impact that your gi can have by making a five-year pledge to the campaign. $2,500 $42 $250 $500 $5,000 $84 $500 $1,000 $10,000 $167 $1,000 $2,000 $15,000 $250 $1,500 $3,000 $25,000 $417 $2,500 $5,000 $50,000 $834 $5,000 $10,000 $100,000 $1,667 $10,000 $20,000 $250,000 $4,167 $25,000 $50,000 5-YEAR PLEDGE MONTHLY SEMIANNUALLY ANNUALLY $1,000 $16.67 $100 $200 GIVING SOCIETIES $500,000 and above – Alpha Mu Society $250,000 to $499,999 – Founders Society $100,000 to $249,999 – AOT Society $50,000 to $99,999 – White Rose Society $25,000 to $49,999 – Diamond Society $15,000 to $24,999 – Emerald Society $10,000 to $14,999 – Pearl Society $5,000 to $9,999 – Sisterhood Society $2,500 to $4,999 – e Grove Society $1,000 to $2,499 – 1927 Society $500,000 $8,344.34 $50,000 $100,000 "My favorite memory is Preference night during rush. Nothing compares to preference in the living room and the music echoing off the walls, as it literally filled the room. A favorite to many as I was reminded by Leisha Pickering as we sat on the steps of the living room last month was 'Father and Son' (old Cat Stevens song). Since I sang it a million times with some great backup, I still have it memorized. It is truly timeless!" – Tammy Scott Folk '79
