Check out these kids who came out for
school supplies.
The Northwest Defenders Motorcycle
Club hosted their 5th annual Back to
School Supply giveaway on August 4
at the Fayetteville Elks Lodge #1987.
The event was open to the public and
the Defenders and Elks Lodge donated
supplies, food and volunteers.
Campbell M. age 10 provided 150
bags of non-perishable food. She is the
founder of Feed the Thousands, and set
up a Gofundme account to help local kids
and their families in Northwest Arkansas.
Girl Scout Troop 5807 of Fayetteville
provided volunteers to help hand out
supplies.
Kids were able to get haircuts from
Amy and Jordan of Salon Fix. There were
folks doing vision checks; and health and
wellness checks for the kids, too.
Everyone had a great time and enjoyed
the hot dog cookout prepared by
members of the Elks Club.
