TAU BETA CHAPTER | PAGE 1 I t seems like only yesterday we were receiving our bids from Tau Beta and realizing we found a special place at 310 S. Monroe. At Chi Omega, we found not only a home, but a community, a sisterhood, and friendships that would last a lifetime. While there may be some differences in today's Chapter compared to the one we knew, the fundamental values of Chi Omega continue to stand the test of time at Oklahoma State University. In addition to the high standards taught by our fraternity, we acquired valuable skills— leadership, teamwork, and personal integrity. We learned to be womanly always; to be discouraged never. Often, these traits have been integral to personal success and helped make us the women we are today. With more than 3,100 initiates, Tau Beta has influenced the lives of numerous women, cultivating lasting friendships in the process. Since our Chapter's beginning in 1920, we continue to pledge some of OSU's finest young women to Chi Omega as is evident by the consistent academic achievement, focus on philanthropy, and service to others. Enjoying a past filled with rich tradition and history, Tau Beta continues to excel. As alumnae, we have been entrusted with perpetuating this tradition of excellence for the next generation. It is our collective responsibility to provide future members a safe, competitive, and quality home at OSU. Together, we look ahead to the next 100 years at 310 S. Monroe. Our goal is simple: Con nue delivering the benefits we received from Tau Beta—and deliver them at an even higher level—to future genera ons of young women at Chi Omega! It is our belief that this is the best way to sustain and advance our sisterhood. "All My Children and Le erman watch par es in the TV room, study hall in the basement, Homecoming, Dad's Day, Chapter mee ngs, pledge sneaks, party pics—these are some of my favorite memories of living at 310 S. Monroe. During my me in the house, I made las ng friendships that have endured for more than 30 years—friendships that will surely last another 30 years. I can't think of a be er way to honor Tau Beta and all that it has given me than to provide future members with a new home for our Chapter. As we close out the first century of Tau Beta at Oklahoma State, let's make sure Tau Beta is around for another century. A new Chapter House will give our future Tau Beta sisters the space and func onality to develop and renew lifelong bonds of friendship and sisterhood. With your help, we can establish the founda on for the next 100 years of Tau Beta and create a home for future genera ons." – Lori Maine '84, Campaign Co-Chairman
