Carbiener '10 Cory L. Metzger '10 In honor of the Class of 2010 T his year has proven to be another successful one at Delta Chapter. We have members involved in many different clubs and extra-curriculars. Members also participate in multiple community service events. Alpha Gamma Rho at Purdue has students involved in many organizations in and out of their majors. They are involved in prominent campus organizations including the National Agricultural Marketing Association Team, Ag Business Club, various honors groups, and many others. Many members used their extra time to participate in intramural sports. Delta Chapter had basketball, football, golf, and volleyball teams. We are proud to have participated in different community service events. Delta Chapter has members that actively participate in the American Red Cross blood services. We also maintain a portion of River Road where we collect trash on a semesterly basis. Our GPA is above a 3.0 and this puts us safely in the top half of IFC fraternities. Our chapter has started using an app-based program to facilitate study tables. This app allows our VNR Scholarship to assign people different lengths of study time, based on GPA, that must be completed in different locations across campus. Overall, Delta Chapter is in a strong place. With a newly renovated house, we have our corporation board and alumni to be thankful for and our members seem to be succeeding in an environment that promotes brotherhood and success. Please feel free to contact me with any advice or concerns.
